My Story

35 Years of Life & Work Coaching

Living The Dream...

Growing up watching my mom and aunts earn degrees in a time when women were discouraged from going to college truly inspired me. It showed me the value of higher education and pushed me toward earning a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Stony Brook University.

After graduation, I went on to take an entry level position as an Admissions Representative.  At that time, my philosophy was to take every situation presented to me as an opportunity. This led to me holding various positions ranging from Regional Director to Vice President of Admissions.

After a decade in my career, I was proud to partner with the existing owner to co-found a college that grew to become a multimillion dollar business.

I relocated three times during my 35 year career, twice while pregnant. Throughout each change I formed a strong belief that personal and professional happiness can and should coexist. As I reflect, I am most proud of the times that I prioritized what truly mattered to me - my incredible children!

Throughout my career, I found a love for collaborating with driven women, and know my success was a result of these collaborations.  This led to me founding Delaur Coaching; where I get to support women looking to grow a business, go back to school, work in an executive position, or navigate being a working mother.
